Clinical research
東京大学生産技術研究所が、MEMS系のセンサーの分野、超精密加工技術、高分子ソフト材料を活用したバイオ技術の方面で先端的な研究を実施しているスイス連邦工科大学ローザンヌ校と一緒に、さらなる緊密な共同研究体制を構築し、医工連携の研究と教育体制を確立することを目指している。特に、感染症における病原体をポイントオブケアにて検出するためのウェアラブルデバイスの開発を主に、様々な感染症に対して低侵襲診断デバイスの設計と製造、治療から予防医学へのパラダイムシフトに応じて必要とする医療機器開発等を研究する。
